]]> Comment on OCE Discovery: Exemplary and Emerging Models in Commercialization by Ari Huczkowski http://mohammadshouman.com/2011/05/28/discovery-exemplary-emerging-models-commercialization/#comment-4 Wed, 01 Jun 2011 09:19:16 +0000 http://mohammadshouman.com/?p=110#comment-4 A comment on what I actually said at the panel discussion about Nokia’s Open Innovation program “Innovation Mill” and about virtual incubation was that yes, the Innovation Mill has thus far produced more than 20 new startup companies, which would not exist without this program – and that the virtual incubation model used in Otaniemi is very important, because then the incubation organization can concentrate on the right things, helping the scalable, product-based global future success story to develop – and not to concentrate on renting space. That’s two very different approaches. Unfortunately most incubators on this planet are more focused on renting space than spending all their effort on developing the startup companies.
